3 and 10/8/11 Lightning attended 2 BE40 4yo events this
August at Homme House and West wilts and went very well,
Unfortunately just out of the placing but looking forward to the
future.
3/8/11 Genal Rebecca competed in the show jumping
competition at Nevern show with a double clear in the
novice and Jumped well around the open.
3/6/11 Duke attended his first event at Cel Aeron Equestrian
Center and went well around the mini plus courses. It was also
Lightnings first Xc event where he also went well with ease
around the Intermediate course. I'm pleased with my babies.
2/6/11 Wmffra rode his, personally chosen ride, Princes the
shetland mare at the 'Vale of clettwr' show near Newcastle Emlyn,
where he did very well and came 2nd and 3rd in his classes. If
anyones looking for a quiet shetland pony, she is being offered
for sale.
26/6/11 I competed Eclipse in the Area 21 Riding club Horse
Trials at Trecoed Farm, Fishguard. In the Intermediate
qualifying section, where we were placed 5th.

We've had some help over the last couple of weeks thanks to
Kate and Ashleigh to get some younsters hacked out and some good
pictures and videos taken of the horses at Genal Stud. Take a

been sold, I have updated some of the pages today, but there

1/1/11 Happy New year. We took 4 Horses to the New Years day
Tivyside hunt meet at Newcastle Emlyn. It was good fun and horses were
well behaved.

We have had a busy time the last few weeks.
Genal Cracker by Tarquine, piebald Yearling filly was sold at
Llanybydder after winning her section in the show.
Penffoss Lil has gone to her new owner in the Gower, Swansea
after having a successful season this year competing at Local
shows and with the Tivyside Riding Club Teams.
We went for a spin with Eclipse today to 'West Wales Show
Jumping' BSJA show, where he was having much attention with the
ladies, admiring his good looks and charm, lol. He performed
well but unfortunately was not in the money today.

Eclipse jumped well and was 4th in the 1m at the PSJS show
jumping show.
25/9/10
Grant and Lil went to VOCEC hunter trials in Croeslan to
compete in the Pairs class around the bottom Novice course and
came 4th.

We had a fun day a Tivyside Pony Club show taking Fairy
Lights for Wmffra, who had a 2nd in theLead ein class and
Bolgoed Lady Letitia winning 2 3rd places in the showjumping.
Also took a visit to see the Hounds at the Tivyside Hunt Open
day. Had a nice pork roll and a Beer. Hope to be hunting some of
our youngsters this up coming season.

Show on Saturday. Lindsey Blackfords colt ( above Right)
'Shamrock' Coming 1st in the Welsh Part Bred Y/g class and Our
own Filly Genal Alexis coming 2nd.

Film called 'War Horse' WW1' style.

Nevern Show - Eclipse won the 4yo
Ridden Hunter class and Genal Welsh Pride was 3rd in the Hunter
Yearling class.
Royal Welsh
One of Eclipse's Foals, 'Maid of
the Mist', was placed 2nd in the Royal Welsh Heavy Weight Hunter
Foal Class. Congratulations.
Penffos Lil won the 2'9" class and was 5th in the 2'3"
class, Crugmore Phillip was 2nd in the 2'3" at the Tivyside
Hunt Hunter Trials on Saturday 19th June 10.
West Wilts ec
Eclipse Came 8th at his first
BE 4yo eventing competition on 15th June 10 held in West Wilts
ec.
Croeslan and Tivyside RC show
Eclipse, Rocco and Lil went well
round the course at Croeslan on Saturday 15th May and Eclipse
also had a 2nd in the Working Hunter and a 5th in the Dressage
at the Tivyside RC show on the Sunday.
Pembrokeshire Show Jumping Series (PSJS) 2010
Just heard that Genna on Blaencyffin
Rachel were Reserve Champion's for the Pembrokeshire Show
Jumping Series (PSJS) 2010. Nice one. Amazing Black sec D Mare.

"Robin Hood" film
Look out for Ridley Scott's "Robin Hood" film out
in cinema's 12th May 2010. Several of our horses were used during
the filming as well as Aled riding in the crowd scenes.
We are delighted with 'Cwmbont Fintan's Total Eclipse' who
Succesfully Graded as G1SHR with the Irish Draught Horse
Society last Thurday 18/2/10 in Morton Morrell EC.
