Cwmbont Fintan's Total Eclipse

Grade 1 approved Irish Sports horse and BSJA assessed

Total Eclipse was purchased from breeder  Mrs Trudy Sayce  by us as a yearling, in the same year was successfully shown in hand, including achieving a 1st place at the Royal Welsh show 2007.

Since he has grown into a beautiful young stallion, is proving to be extremely versatile and excels at anything including show jumping, Eventing, showing, working hunter and Hunting.

As a 4yo in 2010 he passed his stallion Grading, then went on to winning in our Local Stallion show in Cardigan called Barley Saturday, where his Sire 'Fintan Himself 'has also had many times been successful in the Hunter Class as shown on the same trophy. We continued with a few BSJA and some local riding club show's to prepare him for the BE4yo classes. We attended West Wilts where he was placed 8th and also around Shipton Moyne with ease. We were very pleased with him considering he was still a young boy managing his stud duties around a competition career.

He has manners to die for and gentlemanly with his mares which is important for a stallion as I need to be able to handle him myself. Also for a breeding stallion to produce stock with good temperament.  He has proven himself a good hunter out hunting with the Tivyside hunt. People always comment about his good behaviour whether at the shows, out hunting, or at stud duty.  He has the whole package with the looks, manners and ability.

His stock are already proving to show the qualities that Eclipse has,  successes in the show ring including a second place at the Royal Welsh Show 2010. More foals are due by Cwmbont Fintan's Total Eclipse this year. Some may be up for sale later on this year.
